Our Story

Our roots in Arkansas date back over half a century…

Our Mission

To build inclusive and equitable communities through capacity-building, connection, and collaborative action.

Our Vision

With our roots dating back over half a century, JCA envisions an Arkansas where every person is valued, every voice is heard, and everyone has a fair chance to succeed.

Our History

In 1965, the National Conference of Christians and Jews (NCCJ) organized a field office in Little Rock. In 2005, the national NCCJ shifted from its traditional structure with power concentrated in the national organization to a collection of autonomous regional offices like ours in Little Rock. Soon thereafter, the Arkansas NCCJ moved away from its mother organization and became, Just Communities of Arkansas in 2009.
